PaddaHealth is one of the few players in Italy dedicated to the pre-seed stage in health. We invest in Italian and international startups, with an investment thesis focused primarily on digital health and a few adjacent areas.

More than capital

Ours is not a purely financial investment approach. We work alongside founders on the ground, directly or through our network of partners, to accelerate growth and create tangible value.

Not a portfolio, an ecosystem

We do not collect shareholdings. We build an ecosystem where startups connect, share technical expertise and grow together. Every new investment makes all the others stronger.

Four steps, six weeks at most.

Introduction call

A first call to get to know each other: who you are, which clinical problem you are solving and where you want to go. We want to understand the vision and the team before the numbers.

Deep-dive call

We go into the detail of the project: technology, regulatory path, business model and reimbursement. This is where we bring in partners from our network, if useful.

Valuation and final decision

We agree valuation and terms, close the round and switch on Padda Town. From the first call to signing it takes six weeks at most.

Not a fit?

If the project does not fit our thesis we say so straight away, with a reason. And where we can, we introduce you to investors or partners who suit you better.
